Francis drove us down the dirt road towards Aberfoyle for the last time and dropped us at the bus stop. We were very sad to say goodbye but she told us to keep in contact and tell her about all the shenanigans we get up to in Edinburgh. She was very jealous.
And found ourselves in Edinburgh! (Very cold and very windy...)
This is Jessica standing in front of some pretty lights sticking out of the grass. Hehe..
We caught a bus
and then another bus
Yaaaay!! It is such a sweet place!
We booked into Castle Rock Hostel and then spent the afternoon trying find our way around the streets of Edinburgh.
We also got hailed on today. However, the hail here was more like small frozen tear drops tapping you on the head as opposed to massive boulders smashing you in the face. Which was a nice change to back home.
Tonight's dinner was very, very fancy as we graced the local McDonald's with our presence.
This is Jess' 'don't take a photo of me face.' Haha she is going to hate me. If she asks, I didn't put these photos up.
We are so happy to be travelling again and are excited to start the next leg of our adventure!
Missing you all so very much! Xxxx
Ps: Tomorrow is going to be a busy day so get keen for the next update!!

aaaaahhhh so proud of you both! Find an apartment, get some work and plan some more adventures... you'll be so glad you did it all now. Looks so amazing xxxxxx mutie-bear
ReplyDeleteOooh, Edinburgh - if you think you might need your grandmother as a chaperone just let me know and I will hop on my broomstick - it is a wonderful place. Look forward to more updates soon. As Mum said, get a job and plan more adventures. You are both in our prayers always. Have fun, work hard, save money :)))) for the rest of your trip. Enjoy that wonderful city. Stay safe, and remember there is always a willing chaperone only a broomstick ride away. Love to you both. Grandmaa xoxo
