Jess and I are running away to Europe.. but we will be back in 6 months so don't miss us too much.
As mature adults we are more than capable of budgeting and planning accommodation for the whole trip, however, we decided to wing it and go without much of a plan. Why? we will never know! But with Hamish and Andy as our role models how can we possibly go wrong?
We hope you enjoy seeing the pictures that we post, reading about the crazy adventures we have and snickering at our misfortunes that we will encounter along the way. It is a big step in our lives and a journey that will help us discover the true meaning of being independent. Don't worry about us too much though, I am confident that Jess will be able to take great care of us both.

Grown ups can play with dress ups too!

So today was a little more relaxing than the past week.

We woke up late again today but were still able to stuff our faces with breakfast again.

The morning was spent at the Fashion Museum where we admired the fashions of the past and discovered our inner Georgian.
Some celebrity wedding dresses!
Princess Diana's going away outfits. Her letters to the designer thanking him for his work.
Me dressing up as Mr. Darcy
Jess dressing up as Mr. Darcy
Me dressing up as Elizabeth Bennett.. Watch out Mr. Darcy ;)
Me being a little Gorgian boy.
We then walked around the assembly rooms where Jane Austen herself used to attend balls and where she based some of the balls in her book Northanger Abbey!
So enchanting!!
It was so amazing to imagine all of the scenes from the balls in her books ugh so awesome!!!!
Found a book that will be important for our future husbands. Haha!!

After the museum we spent the rest of the afternoon killing time. Jess went for a stroll around the town while I wrote some postcards.

Also we watched the Australian open match between Rog and Rafa. Jess was torn because she loves them both and it was only the semis. Poor Roger :( they are both so good looking though so it was great to watch.

Caught the train back to London later in the afternoon.

Put our future house wife skills to the test by placing a container in a microwave and turning a dial to cook our dinner.

Tonight we are sharing our room with 4 other Aussies. They are the type who like to stay up late and discuss deep and meaningful subjects at midnight.. They are too lively for our old rickitey bones! Shh please our old ears need rest! Haha but secretly I may be enjoying eavesdropping. Oh dear now they are singing! I take it back please shh..
